Guaranteed Success

I know, you have been missing me and my book reviews and blog updates.  I promise, they are coming.  But in the meantime, and in light of the fact that most of the children of people who read this are in school or starting very soon, I will let you know that I have a strong belief in the only thing that you need to worry about when considering how to help your child succeed in school.  And while I'm just a writer on one of the many blogs out there, I figured to have you believe that what I say is true, I would provide an additional source.

If you are interested, here is how to ensure your child will succeed in school.

It's interesting looking at the comments to the article - how many of them are obviously people who are cynical and have checked out with hands up. The comment by David is particularly interesting to me (Aug 21). His condescending tone is particularly defeatist to me - he seems to have missed the point and is not willing to take accountability for it. I would dare guess that his children are not great students, as he is still talking about the accountability of the schools. At least at CHS I feel that we are accountable. Too bad there isn't an accountability test for parents when it comes to test scores too!
